Light Architecture 2 – by Urs Recher
In the second, revised edition of his book, the author explains his personal ideas and experiences on the subject of light. Contrary to the first edition, some pictures have been replaced and the print quality has improved decisively.
In the first chapter, the theoretical fundamentals of the photographical creation of light are explained in an easily understandable way. It is not about the physical characteristics of light but rather its photographical rules.
In Chapter 2 – the main part – altogether 50 different set-ups are explained based on precise layouts, legends, technical data and a short summary of the most important points. This part covers areas from studio photography (portrait & beauty, whole body and fashion, nude and product photography) as well as from outdoor photography (mixed light and daylight).
Finally, the third chapter describes in a very concise way, all the lamps of the broncolor product line.
The book is available in English and Spanish.
